With the city centre situated on a peninsula, surrounded by numerous suburbs that make up the Greater Reykjavík area, space was limited. Winding its way through the capital, this important route takes drivers past various industrial areas and plenty of points of interest, eventually leading towards the city's iconic waterfront.
